Samhain Ritual Practice

Crafting Your Own Obituary

Part of the medicine of Samhain, this ancestral time, is weaving with the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The Samhain portal is a perfect time for the delicate, potent, and mystical art of Crafting Your Own Obituary.

Being in reflection of our own life’s journey, consider…

  • What gifts are we leaving the world?

  • What surprised us about the human experience?

  • What insight do we have about death and life, and our relationship to these energies that are ever-renewing?

  • What fears or longings arise?

  • Is there any grief or anger?

  • What would be said about you if you were to transition now?

From this inspired space, lean in. Speak it out loud to the ones in the unseen, and allow the wholeness, the nurtured part of your being, to hold any part of you that may be in contraction or in fear.
