Samhain: The Final Harvest
Samhain is a potent liminal time of the Year.
The veils are thin, the Spirits are speaking, the wildness of the Land is taking over as the last of the harvest is received and the decay and compost is prolifically reTurning to the Earth to decompose completely in service to new life.
This time where we celebrate death as the beginning, recognizing the letting go, and death as an inherent part of life. Inviting in the wisdom of the death priestesses, feeling the necessity of release and letting go for rest and renewal to follow.
Let's weave these ancient energies and apply them to our modern-day experience, and receive these invitations to enliven them as our life experience. Samhain Ritual Practice
Crafting Your Own Obituary
Part of the medicine of Samhain, this ancestral time, is weaving with the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The Samhain portal is a perfect time for the delicate, potent, and mystical art of Crafting Your Own Obituary.
Being in reflection of our own life’s journey, consider…
What gifts are we leaving the world?
What surprised us about the human experience?
What insight do we have about death and life, and our relationship to these energies that are ever-renewing?
What fears or longings arise?
Is there any grief or anger?
What would be said about you if you were to transition now?
From this inspired space, lean in. Speak it out loud to the ones in the unseen, and allow the wholeness, the nurtured part of your being, to hold any part of you that may be in contraction or in fear.
